Pokemon Sun Moon GBA is a fan-made GBA port of the 3DS games, and it's... interesting. The Alola region feels smaller here, compressed into that pixelated GBA style, but there's something charming about seeing Z-Moves and Alolan forms in this older format.

First thing you notice is how slow the battles feel compared to newer games. The animations are basic, and sometimes the text crawls. But the core loop is still there—catching weird new Pokémon, grinding against trainers, and getting lost in routes that feel just a little off from the original.

It’s not perfect. Some sprites are rough, and the story pacing stumbles in places. But if you’ve ever wondered what Sun and Moon would’ve looked like on a GBA cartridge, this is probably the closest you’ll get.
