Pokémon Torouze is this weird little puzzle game for the DS that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s actually kind of addictive. You’re sliding around panels of Pokémon faces, trying to match three of the same type to clear them. Sounds simple, but the way the blocks shift and stack keeps messing with your plans.

At first, I just mashed buttons to see what happened, but after a few rounds, you start spotting patterns—like how leaving certain Pokémon in place can set up bigger combos later. The sprites are tiny and charming, and there’s something satisfying about watching a chain reaction wipe half the screen. It’s not your typical Pokémon game, but if you like puzzles with a bit of chaos, it’s worth digging up.
