Pokemon UltraViolet is a fan-made ROM hack released in 2013 for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Chaos Rush. You control a young trainer traveling through the Kanto region, capturing Pokemon, battling gym leaders, and working to complete the Pokedex. The game introduces several notable changes, including the ability to catch all 386 Pokemon from the first three generations without needing to trade, along with an expanded post-game area called the Sevii Islands. Progression remains straightforward, though the increased roster and optional challenges provide a moderate bump in difficulty for seasoned players.
