Play Pokemon Wish Online

Pokemon Wish is one of those GBA roms that feels familiar but has its own quirks. The early game throws you into a slightly altered version of the usual starter town, except some of the routes are shuffled around, and you'll bump into Pokemon you wouldn't normally see this early.

I remember wandering into a patch of grass expecting the usual low-level encounters, only to find a wild Ralts just sitting there. That threw me off in a good way. The battles play out like classic Pokemon, but the trainer AI seems a bit sharper—they actually switch out weak Pokemon sometimes.

It's not perfect—some of the sprites look a little rough, and the pacing drags in spots. But if you're looking for a fresh take on the old formula, Pokemon Wish does enough to feel different without losing what makes these games fun.
