Play Pokemon Zaffiro (I) Online

Pokemon Zaffiro (I) is a GBA rom hack that sticks close to the original Ruby/Sapphire experience but with some tweaks. You start in Littleroot Town like always, but the dialogue feels slightly off, like someone ran it through a translator a few times. The early routes have the same Pokemon, though some sprites look a little rough around the edges.

I remember grinding against Poochyenas for way too long before realizing the level curve was steeper than the original games. Team Aqua and Magma still show up with their usual nonsense, though their dialogue sometimes glitches mid-battle. The gyms follow the same order, but the trainers hit harder than you'd expect.

It's clearly a passion project, but you can tell it wasn't polished before release. Pokemon Zaffiro (I) works if you really want a slightly harder Hoenn run, but don't expect anything radically new.
