Game Overview
Primal Rage is one of those weird, janky fighting games from the '90s where you control giant monsters instead of martial artists. Dinosaurs, ape gods, and other freaky beasts duke it out in a ruined world—it’s like someone mashed up Street Fighter with a B-movie monster flick.
The controls feel a little stiff compared to something like Mortal Kombat, but there’s something satisfying about chomping down on an enemy’s neck as a T-Rex or hurling boulders as a giant gorilla. The stages are full of tiny cavemen running around, and yeah, you can totally eat them for health. Messed up? Absolutely. Fun? Also yes.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but the sheer absurdity makes it worth a few rounds. Just don’t expect it to replace your main fighting game anytime soon.
