Game Overview

Pucca - Power Up is one of those DS games that just oozes charm. You play as Pucca, this ridiculously determined little girl who's dead set on chasing down Garu, the ninja boy she's obsessed with. Half the time you're sprinting after him, dodging obstacles and using weirdly effective weapons (like a giant mallet, because why not?) to finally catch him for a kiss. The other half, you're Garu, desperately trying to escape her with actual ninja moves—which feels way harder than it should.

The platforming’s surprisingly tight, with these little jolts of electricity and tricky jumps that keep you on your toes. And the minigames? They’re ridiculous in the best way—like "Kissing Garu," where you tap the screen to plant one on him before he vanishes. Master Su shows up to teach you new moves, and the whole thing feels like playing through one of those chaotic, hyperactive Pucca cartoons.

It’s short, silly, and exactly as over-the-top as you’d hope. If you ever wanted to experience the sheer panic of being hunted down by a love-struck kid with a hammer, this is your game.
