Play QIX on Msdos Online
You draw boxes in empty space while this wiggly QIX thing tries to slice through your lines—one wrong move and you're toast. It's all about pushing your luck as that chaotic line speeds up and warps unpredictably.

QIX came to MS-DOS in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a port of Taito's arcade game. It was a simple, abstract title in an era when many PC games were starting to adopt more complex graphics and deeper narratives, offering a pure puzzle experience instead.
You control a small marker that draws lines across a blank screen, attempting to claim territory by closing off rectangular sections while avoiding the erratic, constantly moving QIX. Your main goal is to fill a set percentage of the screen to advance, all while dodging not only the main QIX but also smaller, faster Sparx that travel along the borders of your claimed areas. The pacing is tense; the QIX moves slowly at first but can suddenly accelerate, especially when you are drawing a line, making every decision a risk. It feels like a constant, nerve-wracking dance with chaos where one moment of hesitation ends the game.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
