Game Overview

Quarantine 2: Road Warrior came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by Mindscape. It was a time when top-down action games with gritty themes were common, and this one fit right in with its dystopian, vehicle-based gameplay. You don't hear much about it these days, but it had a certain rough charm that stood out back then.

You play as a taxi driver in a hostile city, picking up passengers and fighting off gangs and corporate enforcers. Your main goal is to earn enough money to upgrade your cab's weapons, armor, and engine while surviving the chaotic streets. The game uses screen-by-screen navigation, real-time combat with mounted guns and eventually flamethrowers, and strategic resource management for repairs and fuel. It moves at a fast, often unforgiving pace, with difficulty that spikes sharply if you fall behind on upgrades. Driving through those bleak, pixelated streets makes you feel both powerful and vulnerable, especially when your cab is falling apart and you're low on ammo.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
