Game Overview
Redneck Rampage is exactly what it sounds like—a ridiculous, over-the-top shooter where you play as Leonard, a shotgun-wielding good ol’ boy out to rescue his stolen pig from aliens (who, for some reason, love leather and tabloid gossip). The whole thing feels like someone took a fever dream about rural Arkansas and turned it into a DOOM clone.
You’ll blast your way through trailer parks, chicken processing plants, and other backwater hellscapes with weapons that make zero sense—like a crossbow that shoots dynamite or a machine gun built into a bra. Health pickups are just as absurd: chug whiskey to toughen up (though too much and you’ll stumble around drunk), or scarf down pork rinds to stay in the fight.
The voice lines are pure twangy nonsense, the enemies are cloned rednecks, and the whole thing leans so hard into stereotypes it practically falls over. It’s janky by today’s standards, but that’s part of the charm. If you ever wanted to fight aliens with a circular saw gun while country music plays in the background, this is your game.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
