Play Redneck Rampage Online
Blast aliens and mutant chickens, rescue your prize pig, and navigate maze-like levels in this chaotic shooter filled with lowbrow humor.
Redneck Rampage came out in 1997 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, published by Interplay Entertainment. It was one of those shooters that leaned hard into its own absurd, lowbrow humor, a product of its time when edgy, over-the-top themes were common in the genre.
You play as Leonard, a beer-guzzling redneck out to rescue his prize-winning pig from aliens. The game plays like a typical Build engine shooter; you move through levels room by room, blasting aliens and mutant chickens with shotguns, dynamite, and even a nailgun. Health is managed by picking up food and whiskey, which can also make your screen wobble if you drink too much. The levels are maze-like and often require key hunting, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with cramped spaces and ambushes. It feels rowdy and unapologetically silly, a shooter that doesn’t take itself seriously at all.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
