Play Rich Taubers Bass Champ Online

Cast your line into a blocky lake, feel the tug, and wrestle pixel bass to shore—it’s weirdly satisfying even when they look like chunky rectangles. That frog lure? Always slaps.

Game Overview

Ever wanted to go bass fishing without the hassle of actual nature? Rich Taubers Bass Champ for MS-DOS is your ticket. You pick your spot on a pixelated lake, choose from a handful of lures (the frog one worked best for me), and wait for that satisfying tug on the line. The controls are dead simple—just reel in when you feel the bite, but timing it right is trickier than it looks.

It’s got that classic early '90s charm—blocky graphics, a chill soundtrack, and just enough strategy to keep you casting "one more time." I lost an embarrassing amount of hours to this when I first tried it. Not gonna lie, the thrill of landing a big one still holds up, even if the fish look like they’re made of Lego.

Perfect for when you need a break from modern gaming’s noise. Just don’t blame me when you start mentally calculating lure physics during real fishing trips.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
