Play Rick Dangerous 2 Online

Rick Dangerous 2 tosses you into absurd traps—like dodging penguins in Hyde Park—where you’ll fumble with bombs and a weirdly satisfying punch while dying in hilarious new ways. Those "tackle levels in any order" bragging rights vanish fast when every path feels like a death trap.

Game Overview

Rick Dangerous 2 is one of those games that makes you feel like a genius when you finally figure out a level—right before it kills you in some new, ridiculous way. You’ve got your laser gun, bombs you can slide across the floor (which I always forget to use properly), and a punch that somehow feels both useless and essential. The first time I played, I got wrecked by a penguin in Hyde Park, which is exactly the kind of absurd challenge this game throws at you.

The levels are all over the place—icy alien caves, weird mud mines, jungles—and you can tackle the first four in any order, which is cool until you realize they’re all equally brutal. There’s even a little flying vehicle section that’s fun until you crash into a wall because, surprise, the controls are as unforgiving as everything else. The final showdown at the Fat Guy’s Headquarters is the kind of boss fight that makes you want to throw your keyboard but also keeps you coming back.

If you like old-school platformers where every pixel is out to get you, this is a classic for a reason. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you about the penguins.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
