You control Mario through a series of altered levels, navigating screen by screen while jumping on enemies and hunting for exits. The main goal remains to complete each stage, but the layouts are twisted, with new enemy placements, hidden blocks, and unexpected challenges. Signature mechanics include precise platforming over bottomless pits and the discovery of secret paths that often require keen observation.
