Game Overview

Digital Smoke released Solitaire Golf in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a time when simple, focused card games found a solid home on personal computers. It didn't try to be flashy; it was just a clean, straightforward way to pass some time, fitting right in with other quiet diversions of the era.

You control the cursor to move cards between seven columns, aiming to clear the entire tableau by building complete suits from ace to king. The key mechanics involve planning several moves ahead to avoid dead ends and carefully managing the limited spaces in the foundation piles. The pacing is deliberate, almost thoughtful, demanding patience more than speed. It feels like working through a quiet, methodical puzzle where every move counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
