Space Invaders 90 came out for the Sega Genesis in 1990, developed and published by Taito. It was part of a wave of arcade updates that tried to bring classic games to the 16-bit era with a few new twists. You control a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, moving left and right to avoid enemy fire while shooting rows of descending aliens.
