You’re just this little ship at the bottom of the screen, blasting away at rows of pixelated aliens creeping closer with every pass. The tension builds as they speed up, mess up a few shots, and suddenly they’re right on top of you.

Every now and then, a UFO zips across the top of the screen. It’s totally random whether you’ll hit it, but when you do, the extra points feel like a tiny victory. The high score system is barebones, but that’s part of the charm, it’s just you against the endless waves, trying to beat your last run.
