Play Space Invaders (U)(Venom) Online

I picked up Space Invaders for the Game Boy Advance back when it came out, a straightforward port of the arcade classic. It was developed by Taito, the original creators, and released as part of that wave of retro revivals on the GBA. The game doesn't try to reinvent anything; it just brings that simple, focused alien-shooting action to a handheld.

You control a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, moving left and right to avoid enemy fire while shooting rows of descending aliens. Your goal is to clear each wave before they reach the bottom or you run out of shields. The aliens move faster as their numbers thin, and that last one always zips around like it's desperate to take you down. The pacing is methodical but tense, especially when your shots feel just a little too slow. It feels sharp and immediate, even with such minimal mechanics.
