Game Overview

Space MAX is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes you forget time exists. You’re just a tiny ship against a starfield, weaving through enemy fire that gets crazier with each wave. The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s easy—then suddenly, you’re frantically mashing keys as neon bullets fill the screen.

The ship controls like a dream, though. No clunky movement, just sharp dodges and quick shots. And that soundtrack? Blips and bloops straight out of a 90s arcade cabinet. I kept coming back just to beat my high score, even when I told myself "one more try" an hour ago.

It’s not fancy, but that’s the point. If you miss games where skill mattered more than cutscenes, this one’s got your back. Just don’t blame me when you realize it’s 2 AM.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
