Man, Space Spirals takes me back—that hypnotic spiral galaxy, your tiny ship weaving between obstacles while blobs of pixelated enemies swarm in. At first it feels almost too simple, just holding down fire and nudging left or right. Then suddenly you're three levels deep, white-knuckling the keyboard as the whole screen starts spinning faster than you can track.

It's got that perfect MS-DOS vibe where the graphics are basically colored blocks, but your brain fills in the rest. No tutorials, no hand-holding—just instant "game over" screens and the urge to hit restart immediately. I always loved how the spiral warps unpredictably, throwing you into these tight gaps where one wrong twitch means getting shredded by neon space debris.

If you've ever lost an afternoon to Asteroids or Tempest, this one's like their weird, spiraling cousin. Just don't blame me when you realize you've been muttering "one more try" for 45 minutes straight.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
