Game Overview

Space Station Escape is one of those MS-DOS games that sticks with you—mostly because you’ll be too tense to forget it. You wake up (or maybe reboot?) in a dimly lit space station where everything’s either broken or actively trying to kill you. The first thing you’ll do? Panic a little when the lights flicker and some distant alarm starts wailing.

It’s got that perfect ’90s mix of chunky pixels and eerie atmosphere. You’ll poke around storage lockers for a wrench, try to decipher cryptic computer logs, and maybe regret opening that one suspiciously quiet airlock. The AI doesn’t just hate you—it’s malfunctioning in creative ways, like locking doors for "your safety" while oxygen levels drop. And yeah, there might be something… else on board. Not that you’ll see it clearly—just glimpses in the static of security cameras.

What I love is how it doesn’t hold your hand. Run out of battery for your flashlight? Enjoy the dark. Miss a clue? The station won’t wait for you to figure it out. It’s the kind of game where you’ll actually lean closer to the screen, straining to hear distant footsteps over the hum of failing machinery. Just maybe play with the lights on.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
