Spacewrecked: 14 Billion Light Years From Earth came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Celestial Software. It was one of those early sci-fi adventures that relied on atmosphere and tension rather than flashy graphics, typical for the platform at the time. You start the game completely disoriented, with little guidance and a lot of darkness ahead.

You control a lone survivor on a derelict spaceship, tasked with repairing systems and finding a way home before life support fails.
