Game Overview

Super Bases Loaded 2 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1992, developed and published by Jaleco. It was one of many baseball games on the system, arriving a couple years after the console's launch, and it had a distinct look and feel that set it apart from competitors like Ken Griffey Jr. Presents or the RBI series.

You control a full baseball team, managing both pitching and batting, with the goal of winning games across a full season or just jumping into a single match. The pitching interface uses a meter for timing and accuracy, while batting relies on positioning and swing timing to make solid contact. Fielding is mostly automatic, though you can dive or jump for balls. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty can spike depending on the opponent's pitcher. It feels satisfying when you finally connect for a home run after a few innings of careful timing.
