Super H.Q. - Criminal Chaser came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed and published by Taito. It was part of that wave of mid-90s SNES games that tried to do something a little different, blending arcade-style action with a bit of tactical thinking. You control a police car from a top-down perspective, chasing down suspects across a city map. The main goal is to intercept and stop criminals before their timer runs out. You have to manage roadblocks by calling in backup units, and you can choose to ram the suspect's vehicle to end the chase. The game moves quickly, and mistakes are costly; if you're not efficient, your target gets away. It feels less like a pure action game and more like a tense race against the clock where every decision matters.
