Super Probotector: Alien Rebels came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, published by Konami. It was a time when the SNES was full of fast, challenging action games, and this one fit right in. You control a heavily armed robot, moving through levels that scroll both horizontally and vertically, with the main goal being to destroy the alien invasion. Some stages shift to an overhead view where you aim in all directions, adding variety to the run-and-gun action.
