Game Overview

Man, Tank Wars on MS-DOS was pure chaos in the best way possible. You'd pick your tank color—always went with the green one—and then spend way too long adjusting your shot angle, only to watch your missile bounce off the terrain and explode in your face. The physics were janky in that perfect 90s way where half the fun was seeing how badly your plan could backfire.

Playing against a friend was even better. The screen would split right down the middle, and suddenly you're both trying to calculate wind speed (or at least pretending to) while secretly hoping they'd misjudge and hit themselves. The weapons were ridiculous too—bouncy bombs, homing missiles, even a "death's head" that just annihilated everything. No two rounds ever played out the same.

It’s one of those games where losing was almost as fun as winning, especially when your last desperate shot somehow ricochets three times and takes out the enemy tank by pure luck. Still holds up if you can get it running.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
