Play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Online

Pick your turtle—Leo’s swords feel quick, but Raph’s sais stab just right—then brawl through Foot Clan scrubs and weird mutant bosses. That parking garage level with fly-Baxter? Still ridiculous, still satisfying to smash.

Game Overview

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 hit the NES in 1990, developed and published by Konami. It arrived when side-scrolling beat 'em ups were everywhere, but this one stood out because it let you play as all four turtles with a friend. The arcade port felt right at home on the console, even if the graphics took a slight hit.

You control Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, or Raphael, punching and slashing through waves of Foot Soldiers and other enemies. The goal is to rescue April O'Neil from Shredder, moving screen by screen through city streets, sewers, and Technodrome interiors. Each turtle uses their signature weapon; Donatello's bo staff has the best reach, while Raphael's sais are fast up close. You can perform a special attack that hurts all on-screen enemies but costs a bit of health. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty spikes at certain bosses like the flying Baxter Stockman. It feels chaotic and fun, especially with a second player joining in.
