Terminator on SNES throws you right into the movie—you play as Kyle Reese, sprinting through dark alleys and abandoned factories while that unstoppable chrome skeleton hunts you down. The first level nails the vibe: flickering streetlights, random explosions, and this constant dread because the Terminator just will not stop. You grab shotguns off dead cops, duck behind cars that explode way too easily, and pray you’ve got enough ammo when he finally corners you.

Six levels of pure ‘90s action, and yeah, it’s janky—your jumps feel floaty, and sometimes the Terminator just tanks bullets like they’re confetti. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about barely surviving a shootout, hearing that metallic stomping getting closer, and realizing you’ve got one grenade left. Also, the soundtrack slaps—tense synth beats that make even picking up a medkit feel dramatic.

It’s not the deepest game, but if you want that "being hunted by an unkillable robot" panic in 16-bit form, this delivers. Just don’t expect Sarah Connor to thank you.
