Game Overview

Okay, so imagine chess, but with Terminator 2 characters duking it out instead of boring old pieces. You’ve got the humans (white side) with Schwarzenegger’s T-800 as the king—which feels weirdly fitting—Sarah Connor as queen, and little John Connor running around as bishops. The machines (black side) are all these skeletal robots, though weirdly no liquid metal T-1000 in sight.

Here’s the fun part: when you capture a piece, it doesn’t just disappear—you get these little battle animations set in war-torn cityscapes straight out of the movie. It’s janky early ‘90s CGI, but honestly, that just adds to the charm. You can tweak the difficulty, and the game even rates you on the US Chess Federation scale, which is either cool or stressful depending on how seriously you take your chess.

It’s definitely more of a novelty than a deep chess sim, but if you love T2 and don’t mind some clunky DOS-era presentation, it’s a weird little time capsule.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
