Game Overview

Star Wars Chess is basically chess, but way nerdier—and I mean that in the best way. Instead of boring old pawns, you get stormtroopers. Knights? Luke and Han on tauntauns. And yes, Darth Vader chilling as the queen because of course he is.

The real fun kicks in when pieces attack each other—little animated duels play out, and they’re gloriously silly. Watching a wobbly C-3PO somehow take down Vader never gets old. It’s like Battle Chess, but with blasters and lightsabers.

If you’ve ever wanted to pit Chewbacca against Boba Fett in a tactical showdown, this is your game. Just don’t expect to take it too seriously when R2-D2 starts beeping his way through a fight scene.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
