Play Test Drive : Cycles Online

Test Drive: Cycles is one of those old-school Game Boy Color racers where you weave through traffic on a motorcycle, trying not to eat pavement while overtaking rivals. The cities actually feel different—you’ll blast past Dutch windmills one race, then dodge tuk-tuks in Indonesia the next.

Tournament mode’s where I spent most of my time, grinding through cups to unlock faster bikes. The upgrades matter more than you’d think—dump all your cash into acceleration early and you’ll regret it when the long straights hit. And yeah, the nitro bursts are as ridiculous (and fun) as they sound.

Two-player link cable races get properly chaotic with traffic in the mix, and Cop Chase mode is exactly what it says—outrun the cops until your bike inevitably explodes. It’s janky in that late-90s handheld way, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a perfect drift between two trucks.
