Game Overview

Man, Tetris on the NES—this is where it all started for me. That little Japanese cartridge had this weirdly satisfying weight to it, like you were holding something important. The second you boot it up, those blocky shapes start falling, and suddenly it's 3 AM and your thumbs hurt.

The music? Absolute earworm material. I still hum that tune in the shower sometimes. And the controls—so simple, but they just work. No fancy power-ups or flashy effects, just you trying to outsmart a bunch of colorful rectangles before they pile up to the top of the screen.

There's something about this version that feels... honest, I guess? Like the game doesn't care if you're good or bad—it just keeps throwing blocks at you until you either figure it out or panic and hit the wrong button. If you've never played the original, this is the one to try. Just don't blame me when you start seeing falling blocks in your dreams.
