Play Tetrisphere (E) Online
Grab and drop Tetris pieces on a rotating sphere, clear layers, and race against time to uncover the core in this unique puzzle challenge.

I first played Tetrisphere on the Nintendo 64 back in 1997, a game developed by H2O Entertainment. It was a strange and clever take on the familiar Tetris formula, released during a time when the N64 was full of experimental titles trying to push what puzzle games could be. It didn't get a huge amount of attention, but it definitely stood out for its unique approach.
You control a cursor to grab and drop falling Tetris pieces onto a large, multi-layered sphere. Your main goal is to clear layers by matching and removing pieces, working your way toward a core hidden deep inside the structure. The signature mechanics involve peeling back these layers as you clear them and dealing with the sphere constantly rotating, which changes your perspective and access to different sections. The pacing is frantic; you're always racing against a timer or an encroaching threat, making quick matches under pressure. It feels like solving a complex, shifting sculpture with your hands.
