Game Overview

The Even More Incredible Machine came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from Sierra On-Line. It was a time when puzzle games often relied on simple mechanics and a lot of imagination, and this one fit right in with that creative, hands-on spirit.

You don't control a character; you build machines from a library of parts like belts, balloons, and bowling balls. The goal is to complete a simple task, like getting a ball into a basket, by assembling a working Rube Goldberg device. You place each component on the screen, link them together, and then hit play to watch the physics unfold. The pacing is methodical as you tinker, but the difficulty ramps up quickly as the solutions become less obvious. It feels like being an inventor whose plans are constantly, wonderfully, going off the rails.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
