Ever wanted to punch your way through history? The Legend of Silkroad is one of those classic arcade beat 'em ups where you pick between three warriors—Munmoo, Sochun, or Jamuka—and brawl across the Silk Road. I went with Jamuka first because, well, Mongolian warriors are cool, but turns out Munmoo’s magic attacks are way flashier.

You’ll run into everything from bandits to mythical creatures across 25 enemy types, smashing through stages with basic combos or unleashing one of 20 magic spells (if you’ve got the stones for it). The hidden stages are a nice touch—almost missed the first one because I didn’t realize you could break certain walls.

Best part? It’s got couch co-op. Grab a friend, pick your fighters, and argue over who gets the health pickups when you’re both low. Just don’t blame me when they steal the last magic stone.
