The Ninja Kids is a 1990 arcade game from Taito Corporation. It arrived late in the golden age of arcade cabinets, a time when developers were still finding clever ways to make players drop in more quarters. This one stood out with its unique visual style and cooperative brawling action.

You control one of four ninja puppets, each with their own slightly different attacks, and fight through screen after screen of cultists and monsters. The main goal is simply to survive the onslaught and defeat the stage bosses. Your character has a standard attack, a screen clearing special move that costs health, and the ability to pick up and throw enemies or objects. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is unforgiving; enemies swarm from all sides and your own character's large, clumsy sprite can make movement feel awkward.
