Ever played one of those old-school arcade beat 'em ups where you and three friends can just wreck everything in sight? The Ninja Kids is exactly that, but with a weirdly charming twist—your ninja squad are these clumsy, bickering puppets who somehow still manage to save the world from a bunch of Satanists. Yeah, it’s as bizarre as it sounds.

You pick between Hanzo, Sasuke, Akane, or Genta—each has their own goofy weapons (Hanzo’s got this oversized shuriken that looks like it shouldn’t work but somehow does). The levels are chaotic—you’ll brawl through bars, construction sites, even apartments, smacking cultists around while dodging fireballs and falling debris. And don’t get too cocky—these ninjas trip over their own feet sometimes, so expect to get tossed into a wall or set on fire at least once per stage.

There’s a ton of weird power-ups too: chug wine to heal (classy), grab scrolls to boost your attacks, or turn invisible with these glowing jewels that make you feel unstoppable… until you walk into a spike trap. It’s messy, ridiculous, and way more fun with friends. Just don’t blame me when you start arguing over who gets the last health pickup.
