Game Overview

Tommy's Gorilla Ball Babies was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it never received a numbered release in that series. The game was developed and published by a small studio whose name has largely faded from memory, but it fits right in with the kind of experimental, physics-based titles that popped up in the early 90s. It doesn't try to be epic or cinematic; it's just a straightforward, silly arcade experience built for quick sessions.

You control one of two gorilla babies, each standing on opposite sides of a city skyline made of simple blocks. Your goal is to throw explosive balls at your opponent to knock them off their perch, while also avoiding their attacks. The screen scrolls horizontally as you move, and the terrain is fully destructible; a poorly aimed throw can easily collapse the floor beneath you or set off a chain reaction of explosions. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty comes from judging angles and timing your throws amid the chaos. It feels like a playground brawl with explosives, where every match is unpredictable and often ends in mutual destruction.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
