While the game retains the same club and player presentation as its predecessor, it introduces improved menus, customizable tactics, and enhanced graphics inspired by FIFA International Soccer, including pre-match details like coin tosses.

Despite these upgrades, the gameplay suffers from noticeable flaws, making it a step down from Manchester United – The Double in terms of mechanics. The lack of additional clubs or transfer options limits long-term replayability, but the game remains a niche piece of football gaming history, offering a snapshot of mid-90s European football with straightforward management and matchday features.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
