Play UFO Online

Piloting this UFO feels like herding a drunk metal pancake—you'll overshoot turns, crash into mountains, then finally nail that sweet tractor beam grab on a fighter jet. The physics fight you, but that's half the charm.

Game Overview

UFO is one of those MS-DOS Classic Games that came out in 1990, developed by Krisalis Software. It was part of that wave of early '90s PC titles that experimented with physics and control schemes, offering something a little different from the typical arcade or strategy fare of the time.

You control a flying saucer from a top-down perspective, tasked with abducting humans, animals, and vehicles from the landscape below. The main objective is to complete your collection quota for each level while avoiding military retaliation and environmental hazards. Signature mechanics include a finicky tractor beam for lifting objects and weight-based physics that affect your saucer's handling; the pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty comes from managing your craft's awkward momentum and enemy fire. It feels like wrestling with a stubborn, unpredictable machine that only cooperates when everything aligns just right.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
