Game Overview

I remember playing Who Framed Roger Rabbit on MS-DOS back in 1988. It was part of the Classic Games lineup, developed by Rare, and it really stood out among the platformers and text adventures of the time. The game captured the film's mix of gritty noir and cartoon mayhem in a way that felt fresh, even if the tech was pretty basic by today's standards.

You control Eddie Valiant, a private detective trying to clear Roger Rabbit's name. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen, interacting with objects, and talking to characters to gather clues. You also have to avoid hazards like falling anvils and outsmart Weasels, which keeps you on your toes. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, and some puzzles can be frustrating without a guide. It feels like piecing together a messy case while the world actively works against you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
