Winning Eleven 9 on PSP was my go-to for quick soccer matches back in the day. The controls felt surprisingly tight for a handheld—passing had weight, and dribbling actually required some finesse. I remember spending way too much time tweaking formations before realizing my midfield kept getting overrun.

Rosters were decent for the time, though you’ll definitely spot some outdated player names now. What really sold me was the ad-hoc multiplayer—nothing like demolishing a friend’s defense on the bus ride home.
