Game Overview

1994Pool+ was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it was not developed or published by a major studio. It arrived during a time when straightforward, skill-based games were common on the platform, offering a focused take on billiards without much flair or pretense.

You control the cue stick, positioning it around the table to line up shots on the colored balls. The main goal is to pocket all of your assigned balls (stripes or solids) and then sink the 8-ball to win. Key mechanics include adjusting the power of your shot with a meter and applying English to the cue ball for spin and positioning. The physics are surprisingly detailed; you must judge angles and rebounds carefully, and the difficulty ramps up as the table gets more cluttered. It feels methodical and satisfying when a well-planned shot drops exactly as intended.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
