Game Overview

Abmis the Lion is one of those MS-DOS oddballs that sticks with you—mostly because you can't figure out if it's brilliant or just slightly off. You play as, well, a lion named Abmis (no backstory, just vibes), hopping around surreal landscapes collecting potatoes. Why potatoes? No clue. The controls feel a little floaty, like your lion’s paws are made of marshmallows, but once you adjust, there’s something weirdly satisfying about the rhythm.

The first level tricks you into thinking it’s simple—until you realize some potatoes are hidden behind blocks you need to nudge just right. Pro tip: Watch the demo replay from the main menu if you get stuck. The graphics are surprisingly crisp for the era, with these moody sunset backdrops that make the whole thing feel like a dream where logic doesn’t apply. I still don’t know if I actually enjoyed it or just couldn’t look away.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
