Game Overview

Advanced NetWars was part of the 0 MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled several early DOS titles for modern players to rediscover. The game was developed and published by a small team whose names are not widely documented today, but it fits squarely into the era of early PC gaming, when wireframe graphics and simple mechanics were the norm rather than the exception.

You pilot a small triangular ship through a maze of wireframe corridors, firing at enemy craft that appear from all directions. The main objective is to survive as long as possible while racking up points by destroying opponents. Signature mechanics include split-screen competitive play, where two players can battle head-to-head on the same machine, and the use of power-ups that temporarily enhance your ship's weapons or speed. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming quickly, and the difficulty escalates sharply after the first few waves. It feels tense and immediate, especially when playing against a friend in the same room.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
