Game Overview

All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros is a weird little NES rom hack—basically Super Mario Bros with Japanese radio personalities pasted over the sprites. You recognize the level layouts, but now you're jumping on DJs instead of goombas, and the mushroom power-up has some guy's face on it.

It's janky in that way only obscure promotional games are. The sprite swaps range from funny to just confusing if you don't know 80s Japanese radio. The physics feel slightly off too, like playing Mario after three cups of coffee.

Not much replay value unless you're really into radio history, but it's a neat artifact. All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros is more of a novelty than a proper game.
