Game Overview

Art of Fighting on the Genesis is one of those old-school fighters that feels a little rough around the edges now, but back in the day, those massive character sprites blew my mind. Like, they take up half the screen—way bigger than Street Fighter at the time. The super gauge was a cool twist too, letting you pull off desperation moves when you're almost dead. Not gonna lie, the controls feel stiff compared to modern fighters, but there's something charming about its weird, exaggerated animations and the way characters' faces get all bruised up as they take damage. Definitely a relic, but fun if you're into retro brawlers.
