Astérix & Obélix Bash Them All! is a classic GBA beat 'em up where you plow through waves of Roman soldiers with satisfyingly chunky hits. The first few minutes are pure chaos—you're immediately thrown into a Gaulish village under attack, smacking legionaries left and right while Obélix casually tosses men into the distance like sacks of flour.

The sprites are bright and cartoony, true to the comics, though the animations can feel a little stiff. Some of the enemy variety is lacking—you'll see the same helmeted grunts a lot—but the boss fights mix things up with bigger, sillier opponents.

Co-op is where it shines. There's something oddly satisfying about watching Obélix's brute strength send enemies flying while Astérix darts around with quicker strikes. Just don't expect deep mechanics—it's mostly about mashing buttons and laughing at the absurdity of it all.
