Band Hero for the Nintendo DS came out in 2009, published by Activision. It was part of that wave of rhythm games that really took off on handhelds, letting you play along with popular songs without needing a full console setup. You control a band member, usually playing guitar or drums, by tapping and sliding on the touchscreen in time with scrolling notes.
