Play Battle of the Eras Online

A samurai parries a robot’s laser sword while a cowboy quick-draws on a space marine—just another Tuesday in this gloriously chaotic MS-DOS mashup. Chunky pixels, tight dodges, and pure "what if we threw every era into a fight?" energy.

Game Overview

Ever wanted to see a samurai slice through a robot, or watch a cowboy outdraw a laser-wielding soldier? Battle of the Eras on MS-DOS is basically that fever dream turned into a game. The first time I booted it up, I got a knight charging at a guy with a plasma rifle—and honestly, that’s the vibe the whole way through.

The pixel art’s got that chunky, early-PC charm, and the action’s just fast enough to keep you on your toes without feeling unfair. You’ll jump between eras mid-fight, dodging arrows one second and energy blasts the next. It’s ridiculous in the best way—like someone took a bunch of history books and sci-fi comics, threw them in a blender, and hit "start."

Not gonna lie, the controls take a minute to get used to (it is DOS, after all), but once it clicks, you’ll be grinning at the sheer absurdity of it all. If you miss games that didn’t overthink things, this one’s a time capsule worth cracking open.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
