Play BattleTech - The Crescent Hawk's Revenge Online

Pilot a squad of battered BattleMechs through turn-based fights where every dent matters—scrounge for parts between missions while your pilots threaten to quit. That last surviving mech limping home missing an arm? That’s the good stuff.

Game Overview

BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Revenge came out in 1990 for MS-DOS, developed by Westwood Associates. It was a strategy title from an era when complex, unforgiving games were common, and it fit right in with its deep mechanics and steep learning curve. You managed a mercenary unit in the BattleTech universe, a setting known for its giant, piloted war machines and constant feudal warfare.

You control a lance of BattleMechs, directing their movement and attacks on a hex-based map during turn-based tactical combat. The main objective is to complete contracts, earn money, and keep your unit from falling apart. Signature mechanics include persistent damage that carries over between missions, forcing you to carefully manage repairs and salvage, and a strategic layer where you hire pilots, buy parts, and negotiate payments. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is punishing; a single bad engagement can cripple your campaign. It feels like a constant, gritty struggle for survival where every decision has weight.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
