The Toads bring their usual brand of absurdity—like turning into a spiky wrecking ball mid-jump—while the Dragons keep it classic with roundhouse kicks and suplexes.

The first level throws you right into the action: thugs pour in from both sides, and you quickly realize button-mashing won’t cut it. The sprites are chunky but full of personality, and the controls feel surprisingly tight for a Game Boy brawler. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you—this is still a Battletoads game, after all.
